The object of interest

Data of interest can be selected starting from any parameter of choice. To choose the object of interest just click on its name within the hierarchy of objects.

The name of the object appears in the corresponding frame inside the panel of choices made. It is worth noting the corresponding diminution of the number of tables compatible with the choice made, indicated in the upper part of the panel: the progressive refinement of the choices reduces the space of the tables that can be displayed. It is possible to abandon the choice by clicking on the icon cestino , this will cause the removal of the chosen object. An alternative to this is the direct choice of another object, that will substitute the previous one.

The choice of the object can be more or less specific, but, in any case, it is only possible to choose one object at a time.

It is recommended, especially during the first phases of navigation, to select generic objects rather than very specific ones, and to refine only later the details of the selection.

Once the object of interest has been chosen, it is possible to continue and choose, for example, the desired classifications. However, it is also possible to go first to the territorial choice and then to the choice of the object: the order of choices depends on the user. It is also possible to go directly to the tables after choosing the object: all the tables compatible with the chosen object are shown - irrespective of classifications - referring to Bosnia and Herzegovina, at state level (still, it is possible to change territory of reference directly from the displayed table, as we will see below).

The hierarchy of classifications is now free from all those classifications not compatible with the chosen object. It should be noted that it is still possible to go back and delete the object from the choice; this would result in the reset of the complete hierarchy of classifications. To choose a classification, in this case too it is sufficient to click on its name, that appears in the corresponding frame of the panel of the choices made.

It is possible to select further classifications until there are some that are compatible with the choices already made.

img 6e

Now it is possible to choose the desired territorial context.

img 6f

The amount of choices made, besides reducing the amount of selectable tables, also restricts the set of possible territorial context that can be selected. This because, for the sake of statistical significance of data and of privacy protection, tables are issued up to the maximum detail level. The system is however able to guide the user, and thus the territorial contexts that can be selected are only those compatible with the choices already made. It could therefore happen, when selecting parameters, that the only territorial context compatible with the choice already made is the area Bosnia and Herzegovina at national level. In order to select data at a more detailed territorial level, it is sufficient to reduce the amount of classification to be imposed to the chosen object.

To select the territory of interest just click on the link corresponding to the line of the area and of the level of interest.

img 6h

Now it is possible to choose the table to be displayed, among those left that are compatible with the choices made. It is sufficient to click on the indication of compatible tables, in the upper part of the panel of choices made, or to select the folder "Table".

img 6i

The list of tables compatible with the choices made is reported, that is to say, tables showing the objects and classifications chosen and/or the tables showing more specific object and/or classifications. Each table is accompanied by a brief description of its object and its classifications, in order to ease the user's choice.
